Six months ago I transferred my Google+ account from my Apps account to my Gmail account.
Well, that ended up being a mistake. So in the interest of consolidating my online presence, I transferred back. That is all.
James Lane: That's interesting, I'm in the process of the exact same thing, but reversed. I transferred from Gmail to GApps, but am now transferring back to GMail.
Aaron Gibson: I wanted to consolidate my accounts, but there was a feature that was only available to gmail accounts at the time, two days after the transfer, Apps accounts got the feature. So why are you switching back? via plus.google.com

James Lane: +Aaron Gibson Similar reasons I suppose. New(er) features are quite often released for Gmail framework before GApps.
